Delivered as Poolta for the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand.
1968
The demand for the carriage of newsprint from the Boyer Mill was met by converting Poolta.
15.07.1968
Arrived at Hong Kong for conversion and lengthening by Taikoo Dockyard & Engineering Co Ltd into a unit load and container carrier. She was fitted with stabilisers. Her dimensions now 100.19m (328.7ft) loa; 94.48m (310.0ft) b/p. Re-measured and now 2,880 grt, 1,412 nrt and 3,280 tons deadweight.

P&O sold their interest in the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand to Tasman Union Ltd, therefore the vessel was no longer in P&O Group service.

Sold to Bulkships Container Pty Ltd, Melbourne (Associated Steamships Pty Ltd, Melbourne, managers).
1981
Sold to H K Unit Trust (Hetherington, Kingsbury Pty Ltd, Sydney, managers).
1984
Transferred to Segment Holdings Ltd, Tonga (Warner Pacific Line, Tonga, managers) and renamed Kali.
1988
Sold to Golden Arrow International Shipping Navigation & Transport Co, Sharjah, and renamed Ali.
1989
Sold to Ocean Shipping Services Ltd, St Vincent (Tuscar Lloyds Inc, Dubai, managers) and renamed Mahan.
1990
Sold to Sentry Shipping Corp, Dubai (Henderson Marine Consultants, Dubai, managers) and renamed Sublime.
1992
Sold to Elahi Shipping Ltd, St Vincent (Nasser Ibrahimi Co, Dubai, managers) and renamed Blue Pearl.

Under arrest at Bombay.
1995
Renamed Ocean Success without a change of registry, owners, or managers.
02.06.1999
Sold to Indian shipbreakers and demolished at Alang.
