Arrived at Bremerhaven to be lengthened by fitting of 27.78m (91 ft) prefabricated midships section by AG 'Weser' Seebeckwerft.

Delivered back to owners. Tonnage now 28,078 grt, 5,660 dwt. Length overall 205.5m (674 ft). Capacity now 812 passengers.

Agreement in principle for sale to US investor group did not proceed.
08.1984
Sold to Norwegian Caribbean Lines A/S, Oslo, but continued in Royal Viking Line operation.
1987
Ownership transferred to Kloster Cruise Ltd, Nassau.
1991
Renamed Sunward.
1992
Sold to Birka Cruises, Nassau, Bahamas, and renamed Birka Queen. She later reverted to Sunward.

Delivered on time charter to Princess Cruises Liberia Inc, replacing the 1957-built Dawn Princess withdrawn for sale.
29.03.1994
New certificate following re-measurement. Tonnage now 24,799 gt, 12,228 nt.
21.12.1996
Completed last voyage for Princess Cruises and the charter ended.
1997
Sold to Star Cruises and renamed SuperStar Capricorn.
1998
Chartered to Hyundai Merchant Marine and renamed Hyundai Keumgang for cruises from South Korea to North Korea.
2001
Returned to Star Cruises and reverted to SuperStar Capricorn.
2004
Sold to Viajes Iberojet and renamed Grand Latino for Mediterranean cruising out of Spain.
2005
Sold to Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and renamed Boudicca. Still reported in service.
