Delivered as Spirit of Free Enterprise for Townsend Car Ferries Ltd. First of three sisters, followed by Herald of Free Enterprise and Pride of Free Enterprise.

Left builders for Zeebrugge.
12.01.1980
Arrived at Dover after trials at Calais.
14.01.1980
Maiden commercial sailing.
19.01.1987
European Ferries Group plc acquired by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company.

Renamed Pride of Kent.

Owners restyled P&O European Ferries (Dover) Ltd.

Sold by P&O European Ferries (Dover) Ltd to Howill Shipping Ltd and then hire-purchased back.

Owners renamed P&O Stena Line (P&O interest 60%); managers now P&O Stena Line Ship Management Ltd (P&O interest 60%).

Renamed P&OSL Kent, the first ship to adopt the new P&O Stena nomenclature.

Renamed P O Kent when P&O bought out Stena minority holding.
2003
Sold to GA Ferries and renamed Anthi Marina. Still reported in service.
