Delivered as Khandalla for British India Steam Navigation Company at a cost of £283,600.
Early 1930s
Transferred to the Calcutta/Straits service.

Requisitioned for the Liner Division.
1948
Passenger accommodation now 152 cabin-class.

Suffered a fire in her cotton cargo at Mombasa which had been extinguished the following day without damage to the ship.
13.12.1951
Sold to British Iron & Steel Corporation for £75,000 and the following month her initial dismantling was commenced by Arnott, Young & Co (Shipbreakers) Ltd at Dalmuir.
03.1952
Hulk towed to Troon for final demolition by West of Scotland Shipbreaking Co Ltd.
