- Completed as APL Indonesia for CV Niewe Compagnie I and chartered to American President Lines.
- 31.12.1996
- Part-owner and manager Nedlloyd Lijnen BV became P&O associate P&O Nedlloyd BV through creation of P&O Nedlloyd Container Lines Ltd. Remained on charter to American President Lines.
- 2001
- Laid up due to overcapacity in container shipping near Tokyo Bay and renamed Indonesia.
- 2002
- Renamed ANL Indonesia for a brief charter.
- 01.2003
- Involved in a collision with RSS Courageous with the latter breaking in two after the collision. Four female crew members of the Courageous died as a result of the incident. Two officers onboard the naval vessel were held responsible.

- Sold to Zodiac Maritime (Maersk Sealand, managers) and renamed Maersk Darwin.
