Completed as British Coast for Coast Lines Ltd, Liverpool.

Renamed Etrib by the Moss Steamship Company, Liverpool.

Her owners and majority shareholders, James Moss & Co (Moss Line) Ltd were merged to form Moss Hutchison Line.
17.10.1935
Moss Hutchison Line became a subsidiary of The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company.
14.06.1942
Torpedoed and sunk by U552 at 43°18’N-17°38’W on a voyage from Cartagena and Gibraltar to Liverpool with a loss of four lives.
