Delivered as Orama for Trident Tankers Ltd. She was the first vessel ordered and built for Trident Tankers. Orama is a well in Lytton county, South Australia, used as a name for Orient Line ships in 1911 and 1924.

Management and operation transferred to P&O Bulk Shipping Division.

Ownership transferred to The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company.

Sold to Brotherhood Compania Naviera SA, Greece, and renamed Ioannis Angelicoussis.

Suffered an explosion forward followed by a fire while loading at Cabinda, Angola. She was towed out to sea.
20.08.1979
Further explosions occurred in position 06°16’S-11°33’E, about 105km (65 miles) off the port.
04.09.1979
Sank in position 04°32’S-10°43’E, after further explosions.
