- Delivered as Orama for Trident Tankers Ltd. She was the first vessel ordered and built for Trident Tankers. Orama is a well in Lytton county, South Australia, used as a name for Orient Line ships in 1911 and 1924.

- Suffered an explosion forward followed by a fire while loading at Cabinda, Angola. She was towed out to sea.
