Delivered as Kaipaki to the New Zealand Shipping Company for MANZ Line service. She was the last of three sisters to be built for MANZ Line along with Kaikoura and Kaipara.

Left on her maiden voyage.
19.10.1955
Sold to the Avenue Shipping Company Ltd (Trinder, Anderson & Company Ltd, managers) and renamed Westmeath. The Avenue Shipping Co was also a P&O subsidiary company and therefore did not leave P&O Group service.
08.11.1962
Arrived at Antwerp and was sold to be broken up.
