Christmas in the First Class Saloon was a feast of foie gras and roast pheasant followed by the more traditional Christmas pudding and mince pies. Dinner was accompanied by a "programme of music" including "The Roast Beef of Old England", festive hymns and a cornet solo of "The Star of Bethlehem".
