- She made a mercy dash to Campbell Island to bring back an injured man.

- Fitted with refrigerated capacity to carry frozen cargoes across the Tasman following the withdrawal of the liner Monowai.

- The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company sold their interest in the Union Steam Ship Company to Tasman Union Lines Ltd and therefore the vessel was no longer in Group service.

- Sold to Guan Guan Shipping (Pte) Ltd, Singapore, and renamed King Luck.

- Renamed Tsin Yuen without a change in ownership.

- Sold to Taiwan shipbreakers and demolished at Kaohsiung.
