Launched by Mrs Pat Folley, wife of Mr R F Folley, Development Manager of P&O General Cargo Division.

Delivered as Wild Fulmar for Federal Steam Navigation Company Ltd (P&O General Cargo Division, managers). She was a sister to the earlier Wild Flamingo.

It was proposed to charter her for storage of surplus Irish beef in Bantry Bay, but another Lauritzen-Peninsular Reefer ship was used instead.

Management transferred to P&O Deep Sea Cargo Division.

Sold to Sembawang Reefer Lines (Duku) Pte Ltd, Singapore (Sembawang Johnson Shipmanagement (Pte) Ltd, managers) and renamed Reefer Duku.

Transferred to Sembawang Reefer Lines (Duku) Bahamas Ltd, Nassau.

Sold to Manifest Shipping Co Ltd, Limassol (Kappa Maritime, managers) and rename Starsea.

Suffered an engineroom explosion and fire. Abandoned by crew 58km (35 miles) north-west of Punta Mala, Panama, en route Corinto/Zeebrugge.

Sold to Paul Cheng & Sons Investments Ltd, Hong Kong (Trans Globe Marine Ltd, managers) and registered at Kingstown, St Vincent as Midway.

Left Balboa in tow of tug Atlantic Rescuer for Alang, India via Nauru and Kavieng.
