- Ownership transferred to The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company.

- Renamed Strathaslak.
- 06.06.1978
- Sold to Hibiscus Shipping Corporation (Quincy Maritime Co SA, managers) Greece, and renamed Quincy. Apparently her new owners had approached P&O expressing an interest in another ship, as Strathaslak was not in fact up for sale, but a deal was struck at slightly below US$1,000,000.
