Delivered as Waimea for the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand for their Melbourne/South Island ports service.

Ran aground 14km (9 miles) from the entrance to Port Phillip Bay, but came off on the following tide.
31.12.1971
The Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand was sold to Tasman Union Ltd and therefore no longer remained a P&O subsidiary company.
1975
Sold to Marama Nav SA, Panama (Handel Maats Oceanhandel NV, Rotterdam, managers) and renamed Arnhem.
1976
Management transferred to Sealanes NV, Antwerp.
1977
Sold to Kanaris Shipping Co SA, Monrovia (Zoulias Bros & Co, Piraeus, managers) and renamed Milos IV.
13.12.1980
Sold to Pakistani shipbreakers for demolition at Gadani Beach.
