Shipped Donald Campbell’s speedboat Bluebird back from Australia after she broke the world water speed record.

Returned to the British India Steam Navigation Company and renamed Nyanza. Her sister Baradine was also in the deal, an exchange for the faster Waroonga and Woodarra.

Management transferred to P&O General Cargo Division.

Ownership transferred to The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company.

Sold to Arya National Shipping Lines SA, Iran, and renamed Arya Gol.

Sold to Bawa Ltd, Pakistan, for demolition.
