Suffered propeller damage while off Kahurangi Point.

Broke her shaft while she was north of Westport.

Fire broke out on board while at Wellington.

Broke her shaft while she was at Nelson.

Transferred to the Auckland/Gisbourne service.

Takeover of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company agreed.

Involved in a collision with Trecarrell while at Auckland.

Sold for the Cook Strait service to the Anchor Shipping & Foundry Company, Nelson, and registered at that port.
