Delivered as Betwa for James Nourse Ltd, London.

Ran into the centre of a cyclone in the Indian Ocean ten day after leaving Aden bound for Sydney. Extensive damage was done to deck fittings but the principal concern was the presence of 260 tons of dynamite and detonators among the cargo. She emerged battered but intact.

Management transferred to Hain-Nourse Management Ltd.

Ownership transferred to Hain-Nourse Ltd, London.
1966
Sold to the British India Steam Navigation Company, London (also a P&O subsidiary company) and renamed Sirsa. Her passenger accommodations were removed and were replaced with crew quarters.

P&O General Cargo Division appointed managers.
1971
Sold to Ming Hing & Co Ltd, Hong Kong, for demolition.

Arrived at Hong Kong.

Delivered for demolition.
