Reported disabled off Somalia in position 08°31’N-50°43’E, with main engine damage. She was on a voyage from Aqaba to Tanzania with a cargo of bulk phosphate. Taken in tow to Tanga.

Arrived at Tanga where she was discharged. Subsequently offered for sale by order of the District Registrar of Tanga and purchased for demolition by Aluminium Africa Ltd. Resold through West German interests to Nan Long Steel & Iron Co Ltd, Taiwan.

Demolition commenced.
