Captured by the German auxiliary cruiser Michel and sunk in position 11°30’S-26°00’W. Of the crew of 57 plus 10 gunners only the chief engineer and a cadet survived, having been held prisoners of war in Japan until the end of the war. She was on a voyage from Busreh and Table Bay for Trinidad and New York with 3,267 tons of general cargo including tobacco, fur skins, liquorice and steel.
