- Bombed and sunk by German aircraft whilst under repair in Dalmuir Basin.

- Torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U46 in mid-Atlantic (48°46’N-29°14’W) whilst on a voyage from Glasgow to Montreal in ballast. Her crew of 37 and seven passengers were lost.
