Completed as Wakatipu for Union Company service but financed and registered to P Denny, J Darling, Captain Angus Cameron and James Galbraith (USSCNZ managers). She was bunkered with her coal for the voyage and she stuck on the mud at the yard and had to be unloaded before she could be moved. Cost £46,000.

Acquired by the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand and registered at Dunedin.

Re-measured. Now 1,945 grt.

Collided with Flora at Wellington.

In a collision with Laira at Dunedin.

Takeover of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company agreed.

Sold to Wm Waugh Ltd, Balmain.

Dismantled at Sydney. The hulk was sold to Broken Hill Pty Ltd for use as a tar storage reservoir at Port Waratah.

Broken up by Broken Hill Pty Ltd.
