Delivered as Arafura for Eastern & Australian Steam Ship Company Ltd, London. She was the first new ship for Eastern & Australian Steam Ship Company since 1910.

Renamed Tanda.

Sustained hull damage on coming alongside at Portland, Victoria.
14.09.1970
Sold to the British India Steam Navigation Company Ltd, London.
01.10.1971
Management transferred to P&O General Cargo Division.
09.05.1972
Sold through Mitsui and Co Ltd, London, to Tung Cheng Steel Corporation, Taiwan, for demolition.

Demolition commenced at Kaohsiung.
