Launched. She was originally designed for F C Strick & Co but her contract was taken over by British India in October 1913.

Delivered as Ormara for British India Steam Navigation Company at a cost of £72,400.
10.1914/12.1914
Served as an Indian Expeditionary Force transport.
Mid 1917
Came under the Liner Requisition Scheme.
26.10.1938
Sold for £8,300 to Van Heyghen Freres and broken up at Ghent.
