- Launched. The original contract had been made with Societe Navale de l’Ouest, France and subsequently cancelled. It was renegotiated with F C Strick & Co Ltd at an agreed price of £56,000.

- Takeover of Strick Line (1923) Ltd by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company agreed.

- Sold to Cie Navale et Commerciale de l’Oceanie, France, and renamed Saint Roch.

- Sold to Societe des Services Contractuels des Messageries Maritimes, France, and renamed Recherche.

- Sold to Cia Genovese di Nav, a Vap SA, Italy, and renamed Capo Olmo.
- 1940
- Seized by French authorities at Marseilles and handed over to Great Britain. She was allocated to the Ministry of Shipping, later Ministry of War Transport (Moss Hutchison Line Ltd, managers).
