While supplying the Greek campaign, she was bombed in Eleusis Bay, Piraeus and had to be run ashore and abandoned, fortunately without loss of life. The Germans apparently salvaged her at some stage, as the wreck was found in Scaramanga at the end of the war and demolished soon after.
