Delivered as Ngapara for the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand.

P&O sold their interest in the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand to Tasman Union Ltd, therefore the vessel was no longer in P&O Group service.

Laid up at Lyttelton.

Sold to Reach Shipping SA, Panama and Taipei, and renamed Kent Brilliant.
14.04.1993
Following the loss of a rudder north of the Philippines, the vessel was towed to Keelung.

Sold and renamed Financier.

No repairs were effected and the vessel was towed out by the tug Huajen.
18.05.1993
Arrived at Huangpu and thought to have been demolished.

Noted and photographed by Ian Edwards lying at Shanghai as Zheng He 9, fully repaired and in fine condition.

Sold to Attar Construction Ltd, St Vincent & The Grenadines (Pelmar Shipping & Engineering Pvt Ltd, Mumbai, India, managers) and renamed Star 1.
