Delivered as Khuzistan for Strick Line Ltd (F C Strick & Co Ltd, managers), London. She was fitted with a 50-ton derrick.
01.05.1972
Management transferred to P&O General Cargo Division.
31.01.1973
Sold to Nilmore Ltd (Anglo Eastern Shipping Co Ltd, managers), Somali Republic, and renamed Foochow.
30.05.1976
Suffered severe engine damage on a voyage from Penang to Tsingtao.
02.06.1976
Arrived in tow of the tug Mississippi at Singapore. Repairs were found to be uneconomic and she was laid up at Western Jurong Anchorage.
17.02.1977
Sold to Chinese shipbreakers and left Singapore in tow of Salvaliant for Whampoa.
