- Delivered as Khuzistan for Strick Line Ltd (F C Strick & Co Ltd, managers), London. She was fitted with a 50-ton derrick.

- Management transferred to P&O General Cargo Division.

- Sold to Nilmore Ltd (Anglo Eastern Shipping Co Ltd, managers), Somali Republic, and renamed Foochow.
- 30.05.1976
- Suffered severe engine damage on a voyage from Penang to Tsingtao.
- 02.06.1976
- Arrived in tow of the tug Mississippi at Singapore. Repairs were found to be uneconomic and she was laid up at Western Jurong Anchorage.

- Sold to Chinese shipbreakers and left Singapore in tow of Salvaliant for Whampoa.
