Delivered as Grafton for The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (Trident Tankers Ltd, managers). Her name is taken from the Grafton Hunt, an English foxhunt in Nottinghamshire and Buckinghamshire, centred on Towcester, Buckingham and Brackley.

Management and operation transferred to P&O Bulk Shipping Division.

Sold to Schuyler Shipping Inc, Liberia, and renamed Sabrina.

Sold to Goldenwave Shipping Corporation (World Fleet Establishment, managers) Liberia, and renamed Endurance.
1982
Sold to Berthon Shipping Corporation (World Fleet Establishment, managers) Liberia, and renamed Deeriver.

Sustained extensive damage when fire broke out in her engineroom while laid up in Singapore Roads. Found to be beyond economical repair and sold through West German interests to Tong Yung Copper & Iron Enterprise Co Ltd, Taiwan, for demolition.

Arrived at Kaohsiung.

Demolition commenced.
