Rebuilt with extra passenger and freight accommodation at Hapag Lloyd Werft GmbH, Bremerhaven, West Germany.

Sold to Samos Pearl Shipping Co Ltd, Piraeus (Hellas Ferries Co Ltd, managers) and renamed Hellas.

Returned to Hapag Lloyd Werft for lengthening.
