Ownership transferred to The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company. Renamed Baradine and employed on the UK/Australia service.

Stood by Trident Tankers’ Ellenga after she had broken down in the eastern Mediterranean, towing her for 325km (200 miles) until her engines were repaired.
1966
Managers and operators renamed P&O Lines.
30.08.1968
Returned to British India Steam Navigation Co Ltd and renamed Nardana because of the imminent conversion of the Australian service to containers.
1969/1972
Transferred to the Japan/Gulf service.
01.10.1971
Management and operation transferred to P&O General Cargo Division.
17.04.1972
Ownership transferred to The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co.
07.12.1973
Sold to Arya National Shipping Lines SA, Iran, and renamed Arya Pand.

Reported anchored off Dubai with boiler trouble during a voyage from Abadan to Shanghai. Reported sold to Chinese shipbreakers but as a result of further engine trouble was sold to Karambux-Mirambus, Pakistan.
20.03.1976
Beached at Gadani Beach for demolition.
