Launched. She was launched for F C Strick & Co as Shahristan but she was taken over by British India and renamed Orna.
06.11.1913
Delivered as Orna for British India Steam Navigation Company at a cost of £81,400.
24.06.1914
Takeover of British India Steam Navigation Company by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company agreed.
1917
Came under the Liner Requisition Scheme.
17.10.1917
She was attacked by a torpedo and gunfire from U22 in the mid-Atlantic. Orna was not hit and was able to escape.
13.01.1918
Ran aground off Alexandria but was refloated unharmed.
16.08.1926
Grounded in the Hooghly when inward bound from Semarang to Calcutta with a cargo of sugar.
19.08.1926
She was refloated following her grounding and only sustained a few buckled plates.
09.1933
Sold for £6,650 to shipbreakers.
1934
Broken up at Osaka.
