The card bears a ship post mark of 7th August 1924 and message reads; "Cape Town Cheerio Eric, Just had transfer to this wagon. Full up, 1570 passengers! New D.F. just fitted; as per Radio practice sent way uncalibrated for graduated error etc. So Bill Muggins is pretty busy. Excuse scrawl, regards".
