- Delivered as Kokiri to the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand.

- When entering Greymouth she ran onto rocks at the end of the breakwater. Although she came off quickly, the repairs required the replacement of 17 hull plates.

- Two men were killed when a mystery explosion rocked the forward hold of the vessel as she was arriving at Wellington. It was believed to be a build-up of coal gas that caused the explosion.

- Sold to E-K Litonjua Steamship Co Inc, Manila (Litonjua & Co Inc, Manila, managers) and renamed Junior K L.

- Disappeared without a trace in typhoon Elaine on a passage from Tanjong Mani to Hong Kong. Her last reported position was 13°00’N-112°46’E. There were approximately 20 crew on board at the time of the disappearance.
