- Launched.
- 06.1890
- Completed as Talune for the Tasmanian Steam Navigation Company. She was the last and largest ship built for them.

- The fleet was taken over by the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand and she was put on the Hobart/Sydney service.
- 1892
- Moved to New Zealand and spent her career on all these routes.
- 01.07.1917
- Takeover of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company agreed.
- 02.1921
- Laid up at Auckland for disposal.
- 05.1925
- Bought by Todd & Borlase and stripped to a hulk. Then sold to the Public Works Department. Towed by Hinemoa to Waikokopu for use as a breakwater.

- Scuttled at Waikokopu.
