Launched.

Completed as Talune for the Tasmanian Steam Navigation Company. She was the last and largest ship built for them.
01.04.1891
The fleet was taken over by the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand and she was put on the Hobart/Sydney service.
1892
Moved to New Zealand and spent her career on all these routes.
01.07.1917
Takeover of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company agreed.
02.1921
Laid up at Auckland for disposal.
05.1925
Bought by Todd & Borlase and stripped to a hulk. Then sold to the Public Works Department. Towed by Hinemoa to Waikokopu for use as a breakwater.
01.1926
Scuttled at Waikokopu.
