Sold to the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand and renamed Wairimu. The ship was acquired while she was at Baltimore, USA.

At Tauranga she loaded the first cargo of paper pulp to go to Colombo. All prior shipments were to Australia.

Sold to Tung Lee Lee Navigation Co Lte, Hong Kong and renamed Ta Tung.
1969
Transferred to Ta Peng Steamship Co Ltd, Kaohsiung (Ta Lai Steam Ship Co Ltd, Kaohsiung, managers) and renamed Ta Tzong.
03.1970
Sold to Shei Seng Fa Steel & Iron Works Ltd, Kaohsiung, shipbreakers and demolished.
