Delivered as Katoria for British India Steam Navigation Company at a cost of £32,700.
1896/1902
Transferred to the Tuticorin/Colombo route.
1904/1905
Transferred to the Turicorin/Colombo route once again.
1905
Moved to Bombay on the Persian Gulf fast mail service.
24.06.1914
Takeover of British India Steam Navigation Company by The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company agreed.
1917
Served as a patrol vessel in the Indian Ocean.
10.11.1918
Left Salonika with troops to accept the surrender of the Turkish forces at Gallipoli on 11th November. (The first World War ended at 1100hrs that day).
12.06.1919
Damaged in a collision with the Russian steamer Belorossia at Constantinople.
01.04.1923
Sold to Bombay shipbreakers for Rs 30,000.
